4 10s is the way to go 100%. A day to rest, a day to play, and a day to get shit done at home.
Only thing better is being self-employed lol. Some days I work 6-8hrs, some days it’s like 3hrs and some office stuff, some days I barely do anything. Most days I’ve got something to do though.
I was a construction electrician tho, every time we got 4 10s some asshole would find a reason to have us there Friday anyway. I mean, sure, overtime. But I’m tired bro.
Electrician here as well, running a shop comes with its own set of shenanigans that I sometimes daydream about just working for someone. But then I remember the flexibility I have that wouldn’t be a thing otherwise.
Oh for sure. I don’t envy having any more responsibility than I do as a one-man-show lol. Regardless, it’s really wonderful being in charge of your own work.
