“a girl there a little younger than me”. May I ask roughly your age at the time? I must confess I associate strokes with the elderly or people well into their middle age already. Is it also common among children?

Anyone younger and/or less mature than me is a kid/kiddo
Lots of adults call men boys too, and it’s not weird. In fact there’s a whole TV about it
