With your fingers? Do you completely submerge them in mayo or something?
The only time it is acceptable to use a fork for fries is whith those super soggy ones that were immersed in ketchup/mayo. You use a fork to scoop those up and put them in the trash. Those are far worse than pineapple on pizza or fries with ketchup.
