Two of my friends have done it. I’ve considered doing it because I like the sound of my irl name, just not the gendered connotations.
I do think it’s overrepresented in fiction, but I don’t think it’s silly or anything.
That’s fair, I never intended to invalidate anyone’s decision to have any sort of chosen name.
