I think they meant the placement of the text, switching places between the “grandpop” and the “me”. Would make more sens to me.

Right, but I think we’re the final evolution, because you don’t get Charizard without Charmander.
But also you aren’t born a Charizard but rather Charmander and evolve (get older) towards Charizard.
