I’m not naive enough to think she’d replace him as senate minority/majority leader, but if AOC replaced cowardly Chuck as senator from NY that’d be pretty great.
She would be crazy not to make the attempt in '28* after all this shit going down.

California is apparently putting a secession measure on the ballot in '28, not sure why they’re waiting so long.
California accepted a petition for an initiative to put a secession resolution on the ballot. The state of California agreed that the paperwork submitted was valid and so they are approved to start collecting signatures.
No one in the California government is seriously discussing secession as far as I’m aware.
This has been happening since before the first trump presidency, and has consistently lacked support on the ground. I would guess that they’re banking that angst against the rest of the US will be at its peak at that point.
