Some people have strange ideas of what a disadvantage is!
Clearly not people of any significant culture. Of course, I’d have to know about the exact strength of these bites, but… They’d have to be both very frequent and sufficiently damaging to be a significant deterrence.

Well, at least we’ve got online friendships. It’s not quite the same, but it’s still vastly better than nothing.

Sure, and it can be great for moral support - which is nothing to sneeze at - but material support is a little difficult if you’re half a planet away.
