Apparently the USA division head or whatever Reggie fought tooth and nail for wii sports to be an included free game. Nintendo Japan was very against the idea.
I’d say it paid off. Look whose remembered.
The console wouldn’t have sold as well without it. Wii Sports definitely contributed to the success of the console.
