You can always tell when the writer of the latest episode of any show is eligible for retirement but choose not to take it.

Did a reverse image search and I guess that the original image is mirrored horizontally and papa Smurf covers a window for some reason

        The original image:

I think your source has missed a step. I think it went:

          1. Original source
          2. Someone flips horizontally and adds their logo
          3. Someone adds smurf over the logo

I just imagined a couple having some snuggly time and a South Park like Saddam just poking his head out in between. Thanks.

i know this is a joke, but for those who don’t know, this is a courtship bed from i believe the Amish culture (either that or Mormon, I’m rusty lol) to preserve virginity before marriage.

I know this is a dumb meme about shitty relationships, but real life pro tip here:

    Separate blankets.

Is a doona a specific type of blanket or just a local term

EDIT: it’s Australian for quilt. Now I know!

Separate blankets is the way to go. We both sleep so much better now.

    It’s because divorce was illegal.

No-fault divorce is a big fucking deal for American culture, because it ended this enforced permanence for relationships that went sour. All of the “wife bad” boomer humor comes from the fact a marriage could not simply end.

I was abroad for work, flopped onto the middle of my large hotel bed.

Turns out it was two singles pushed together and the bit where they met was a lot harder than you’d think.

Maybe my first hint that I’m not entirely cis should have been that I’ve been married more than 5 years, and in a relationship with my wife more than 10, and I still love her more each passing day.

This is great! But it doesn’t match ours! Ours has machine guns and sharks with lasers ok their heads! Nobody is jumping that divider tonight or ever!..oh, who am I kidding 😅, I sleep in the living room 🛋️ couch.

Think about that before you marry. LOL. The sex is fantastic until it’s not anymore.

need one of these for hotels where a large party needs individual beds e.g. an overnight school field trip where all the students in the same grade need to share a room with minimal awkwardness.
