Hey everyone, I’ve just updated pricing points for around 100 different countries for removing ads.

Please let me know how these look, it’s been quite the challenge getting this right in so many different regions.

I’ll be expanding localised pricing to ultra following feedback from this thread.

      My homie. It isn’t a membership.

      While I wil never subscribe to any app as a matter of principle, ultra is a completely voluntary extra. The app has most functionality implemented already, and all lemmy functions have been said to be planned as part of the base app.

      There is no membership required to use the app. Even the subscription isn’t required

      I gladly paid for mine, as I did with Sync for Reddit before. Got extreme value out of this, will get extreme value out of the 20 € I paid here. So, yes. “Memberships”. If they are worth the price.

            Pricing is based on region, cost of a meal in that region, purchasing power and other factors.

              You are doing good work but it ain’t worth 15 Big Macs. I want the features. But its incorrect pricing. I can’t pay this even if I was a millionaire, it’s just wrong. Sorry.

                I understand Devs need to eat, but lifetime ultra is 100 USD (111 USD with tax) for Indonesians. I doubt he will get single purchase from us. We are third world country, even Americans would find that pricing distatsteful. 😂

    Lifetime Sync for reddit pro was 3€, sync for Lemmy is 114€. With that hefty price tag, you might as well just pay for the reddit api calls… This price is borderline insane.

    I have a system wide android ad blocker but I always pay for apps to support the developers, but this… nope.

    Brazil feedback:

    • Ultra lifetime, BRL $149.99 - Updated.

    • Ultra yearly, BRL $79.99 - Same as before.

    • Ultra monthly, BRL $9.49 - Same as before.

    • Ad removal, BRL $97.99 - Same as before.

    Don’t know if it’s only the lifetime that was adjusted thought.

    Keep up the amazing work LJ, the price adjust is just amazing, thanks for doing it. It was a little on the higher end here. Now it’s fairly priced. Really appreciate it.

      Ad removal should have been BRL $38.99, just adjusted this now. Looking to automate this process too so we don’t have these issues again.

    Haven’t been able to find the one time purchase in the app. I did monthly when it first came out, maybe that’s why?

      I had the same happen.

      I had to use the “reset ultra subscription (debug or dev)” or something similar to that. And then Restart the app and it showed up.

      If you have Ultra it hides the ad removal option. Which makes sense since Ultra also removes ads.

    Thanks for adjusting the Norwegian price! Not cheap-cheap, but better than what it was ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪
