I think lineage is probably the one, although that one doesn’t seem completely de-googled? I see some people talking about a version that is but something about signature spoofing and thats a security problem… I’m not sure what to make of it. I don’t want to do graphene because it just seems hypocritical to buy a google phone when I’m trying to stop giving google money and my data.
Fairphones look good if I can get one - I wonder if there’s a way to get the new one shipped to the US. I think my only hang up there is the lack of a wireless charger. I can get past that but I have a number of wireless chargers in my house and cars that I do enjoy. Weird that it doesn’t have it, and weird to realize it’s become an important feature for me.
They sure do. That takes 10-20 years and in the meantime many patients experience an increased quality of life rather than a horrible death. I hope someday we develop a better method and I expect that doctors of the future will view this practice as barbaric, but at the moment it’s the best we got and better than nothing.
With my old plasma tv if I ever started to notice burn in I would set it to a channel with no signal so it would do the static “snow”. It forces every pixel on the screen to go full spectrum by alternating between white and black. Leaving it like that for like 5-10 mins would greatly reduce noticeable burn in. TV is still going strong after 14 years of doing this.
Upscaling and higher frame rate is all I really want. Sony may do it eventually but lately they have that PSN account requirement bundled in. They always gotta add something shitty to any good they do.
