There are no really good alternatives to Adobe.
Or at least, while there may be programs that are good enough to keep you from going to Adobe to begin with, those options will not be good enough to satisfy someone that is using Adobe already.
It is one of the areas that Open Source and Linux lags the most.
Glad people are loving Sync. A bit surprised that people are saying that there is finally a good mobile UX for Lemmy though.
I was an Apollo user on Reddit and have been using Voyager for Lemmy. The experience on my phone ( other than content ) has been near indistinguishable. If I had both apps, I would barely be aware of which one I was in.
Anyway, awesome that people are loving Sync.
It never occurred to me that when people talk about “wife factor”, they mean setup. I also thought they just meant use.
My wife uses Jellyfin and complains about it less than Netflix or Prime.
My wife is an iPhone and Mac user and asks me to set all her Apple stuff up. I get asked to fix things all the time.
Apparently neither Apple or Jellyfin have sufficient “wife factor” if we include setup.
