In fact, it detracts from your point by making you sound like you don’t know how to use the word.

I wish Kawahagitei did more stuff like this. It seems nowadays he draws a single image and milks it for about 30 panels with a wall of text on each one :(

His doujins with an actual story / character development were the best.
