There are people who don’t just use the edge of whatever vessel the egg is going into?
Corner of the counter. I have perfected cracking eggs on that edge I always mess it up on the cooking vessel
If it’s a plastic bowl I use the counter, otherwise whatever I put it into
I use a hacksaw to get the cleanest cut!
I prefer using the coping saw for eggs that are medium-sized or smaller. A delicate cut for a delicate egg!

How much force are you people using to crack an egg?
It doesn’t take much when you are cracking eggs against an edge like that.
