I need to know how bad the Mexican one is. I’ve heard horror stories about Mexican food in Europe.
The last years we have some real Mexicans opening restaurants here (Belgium) which are OC good.
But I had to learn to cook it myself (you can buy/order all the ingredients) since I couldn’t wait until it started getting popular.
There is however one French chain OTacos which, opened here and it’s a crime against Mexican food.
The Mexicans should open a court case for reputation dammage.Mexicans do bastardize the cuisine of every other country (much like the US).
For example, most sushi rolls come with cream cheese in them. You have to ask for your roll without cream cheese.
However, there is also tons more delicious food to find here (also like the US).

Interesting, I’m not that familiar with the history. I’m from the US living here. But al pastor is delicious (adobada here in tijuana).
Came from Lebanese immigrants, now a regular fast food.
Obviously they didn’t use pork but lamb (like the pita/shoarma we got to know in Europe) but Mexicans love their pork.
